Belonging, Believing, Building a Future

ODST

ODST.jpegThe Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust (ODST) was founded in 2012, as a limited company operating within

the Oxford Diocese.ODST has now grown into a large family serving over 3,000 pupils, their families and communities in schools across

the diocese, which covers Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Milton Keynes.

An ODST school is a special place, which values its individual identity and serves its local community, admissions policies are open, and priority is normally given to children in the local area.

ODST is a place where all are welcome; for both CofE schools and community schools, for staff and pupils of all faiths and none, where academic excellence abounds and where pupils and staff are enabled, valued and encouraged to become outward looking, resilient learners and professionals.

The Trust want every person in its schools to know that they are uniquely valuable.  ODST academies are places where children and young people develop and thrive intellectually, socially, culturally and spiritually.

The Trust believes in the transformational power of human relationships. By building effective relationships between ODST schools in hubs and by encouraging schools also to play their fullest part in the partnership to which they belong, the Trust believes that it can work collaboratively to raise attainment and ensure schools get better together.

ODST academies teach a broad and balanced curriculum within national guidelines.  Focusing on core skills, this is designed to ensure that all pupils reach their academic potential and seeks to enrich their experience along the way.  Children are enabled to succeed in an atmosphere of high expectation, aspiring to educational excellence with a firm foundation of Christian values.
